The Best Products for Disney Trip with Baby

As a mother with a 5-month-old baby, I wanted to go to Disney but wasn’t too sure if the trip would still be enjoyable for all of us. I was thinking that I was crazy for wanting to go to Disney with my 5-month-old baby! I was wondering, what possibly can I do other than take pictures with the Disney character and eat! So, I started researching because if you know anything about me, I love theme parks, and I love to ride! So, I didn’t want to be that mom who is just presently holding bags and taking pictures of everyone. How could traveling with a baby to Disney be possible?

To my surprise, a trip to Disney wasn’t as bad as I thought! On December 21, 2019, My husband, me, and our 5-month old daughter not only went to one Disney park but TWO! We started our Disney Journey at the Magic Kingdom and went to the Animal Kingdom afterward! And, I’m sure glad that I plan accordingly and use these fantastic products (listed below) to aid in a successful trip to Disney!

What is Disney World?

If you are not familiar with Disney World, maybe hear the name before but haven’t experienced Disney, Disney World is a magical place, amusement parks, made for families located in Orlando, Florida! Don’t take my statement “made for families” lightly! Disney is an incredible place to go with your family and experience one or all of their parks! They have four amusement parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios) and two water parks (Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park).

Best Products to Overcome a Disney Trip with Baby

Below you will find some products I used or recommend when taking a trip to Disney World with a baby:

  • If you are planning on taking your baby on rides with you, I suggest you buy this fantastic baby carrier to help carry your baby on a ride at Disney! And yes, you can actually take your baby on rides! A good rule of thumb is to pick rides that are a label for “ALL AGES.”

  • Not only should you have a good baby carrier but also an awesome baby stroller (preferable a jogger). Have a baby stroller was awesome when my back started to get weak on me from standing for long periods. I would alternate from baby carrier to baby stroller. Plus, the stroller became excellent storage for our coolers we brought filled with food and drinks.

Bring weather-appropriate clothing. Since we went to Disney in December, we ensure we had winter clothing ready to be used for our 5-month-old baby girl. I recommend you bring some hats, baby sunglasses, jackets and sweaters, long sleeve shirts or onesies, long pants (Winter).

For the long car ride, ensure you have baby toys to entertain the baby. Kaylynn’s favorite car toy and OF COURSE MOMMY FAVORITE TOY is this amazing peek a boo elephant! No matter what the situation is, if she starts to cry, I can push the button on the elephant to play the song, and she is COMPLETELY CAPTIVATED! All in all, mommies, bring your baby’s favorite toy for the ride to the park.

I can’t fathom taking a baby to Disney. It’s seemed impossible to me because we took my 5 and 2 year old a couple of years ago and that was hard. Your tips are great though and I’ll keep that in mind as I’m having a baby next year and we may take a trip to Disney again.
