25+ Tools and Resources for Bloggers

Everyone wants to know what are the best tools to use when starting an online business. I remember when I first started blogging, I was looking for as many resources as possible to help me on my blogging journey. I know most bloggers don’t share their tools and resources, but I will!

As promised, you will find my tools and resources that have helped me with my online presence and blogging, as well as tools and resources I think everyone who is working online should use.

ONLINE BUSINESS ESSENTIALS

1) Web Hosting- BlueHost– is the web hosting I currently use for my blog to stay up and running. I even wrote an entire blog post on how to start a blog using WordPress and Bluehost- Check it out here.

2) Proofreading and editing- Grammarly– is a lifesaver for its proofreading and editing magic! To save yourself from embarrassing grammatical mistakes while writing your blog post, emails, or even book writing, you should definitely use Grammarly!

3) E-mail Marketing- Convertkit– I currently use Convertkit for my email marketing, and I love it for the customization and automation features! You can legit set up email automation and never have to worry about forgetting to send an email or writing an email to new subscribers about the topics they are interested in. Plus, you can add triggers, which helps you categories your audience! So, you can target your emails to the better audience that your topic applies more too! Check it out here.

4) CMS (Content Management System) (website builder)- WordPress– is the number 1 used CMS chosen by bloggers to create their blogs on. I haven’t met not one blogger who doesn’t use WordPress for their blog! If they do, they regret not using WordPress! Learn more about WordPress here.

5) Web Design (WordPress Themes)- Themeisle– If you want to have a beautiful website design for your blog and don’t want to start from scratch, check out this website for their amazing WordPress Themes!

6) Website Design & Graphic Designs (WordPress)- Bluchic– If you are in need of amazing website designs, you definitely want to check this company out. They also have amazing landing pages templates and Canva Lead Magnet Templates!

7) Creating Online Documents- GoogleDrive – I absolutely love Google Drive! You can save files and documents on google drive! Google Drive also is composed of other document software called Google Docs, Google slides, Google sheets, Google forms, and more! The beautiful thing about them all is, if you don’t want to pay for Microsoft Office, google drive is a great free alternative! Plus, my favorite feature of google drive is the autosave feature! I can’t emphasize how many times I have been a victim of my computer shutting down mid essay writing! No more with Google Drive (google docs)!

HOSTING DIGITAL PRODUCTS & COURSES

8) E-Courses- Teachable: If you are a blogger that is looking into making money and have a course you would like to teach, I recommend you use Teachable! Thus far, Teachable has been the only course company that also has its affiliate program within the course. In other words, you can create a course, and have others promote your course off the same platform! So, you don’t have to spend extra money to find another company to conduct your affiliate marketing program. You can use Teachable for both! 9) Send digital products- Sendowl: It is excellent if you want to sell ebooks to your subscribers! They also have their affiliate program options for you on their platform, so you can get others to promote your products as well! Click to learn more.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING & AUTOMATION

10) Tailwind– my #1 favorite social media marketing and automation tool! I love Tailwind! With Tailwind, I can schedule my pins way in advance, leaving me lovely amounts of time to focus on other blogger things! You can also join Tribes, which are like Pinterest groups just on Tailwind. Tailwind Tribes are amazing because you are in a massive community of other bloggers who are blogging about the same subject and are eager to pin other pins to their Pinterest! 11) Hootsuite– makes finding, scheduling, managing, and reporting on social media content easier! Schedule your social media post out with Hootsuite! Learn more here.

GRAPHIC DESIGN & STOCK IMAGES

12) Canva– I currently use Canva for all my visual needs- INCLUDING MY PINTEREST PINS! You can make sellable printables with Canva. 13) Creative Market– If you are looking for professional stock photos, fonts, workbook templates, ebook templates, e-course slide templates, anything about graphic designs, Creative Market is the place! Oh, they also have Mock-ups, if you’re into that type of stuff! To learn more, click here.

14) PicMonkey– Picmonkey is another website you can use to create your graphics! Picmonkey is almost like Photoshop, meaning its more customizable! If you enjoy being able to do some super in-depth edits and graphic creation, check out PicMonkey. Learn more here.

25) Amazon Affiliates– I love Amazon! So, signing up for their affiliate marketing program was a no brainer for me! Amazon has their in-house affiliate program. As an Amazon Affiliate, you can earn a commission based on promoting amazon products and bounties!
